At the conference to review activities for the first 6 months of the year held on the afternoon of July 16, Mr. Nguyen Cong Hai - Director of the General Confederation of Labor Guest House, Ho Chi Minh City Branch - said that in the first 6 months of 2025, the General Confederation of Labor Guest House, Ho Chi Minh City Branch had a good service to the meetings of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor held at the guesthouse and working programs of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in the southern provinces and cities.
The guesthouse has successfully served 11 conferences and training sessions of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, with 1,237 delegates attending the conference and training sessions, with 1,848 days off. The Guildild's Guest House and Ho Chi Minh City Branch also reduced prices for union members under the union member welfare program with an amount of more than 121 million VND.
In addition, the labor productivity of the Guest Service Department has increased by 40%, the revenue in the first 6 months of 2025 of the Food Service Department increased compared to the same period last year.
As a result, the total revenue in the first 6 months of 2025 of the General Confederation of Labor Guest House and Ho Chi Minh City Branch is estimated at nearly 21 billion VND, the average salary of 65 employees of the guesthouse reached 15 million VND, an increase of nearly 1 million VND over the same period in 2024.
In the last 6 months of the year, the General Confederation Guest House and Ho Chi Minh City Branch will promote the implementation of the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, especially the contents related to the lives and jobs of employees, continuing to implement Resolution 02-NQ/TW dated June 12, 2021 of the Politburo on "Innovation of organization and operation of Vietnam Trade Union in the new situation".
At the same time, widely launch and deploy emulation movements "Exercise well the regulations, rules and regulations of the agency on office culture"; maintain the activity of "Building and maintaining civilized, modern, green, clean, beautiful agencies and units", in the immediate future, promote practical emulation to achieve achievements to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2025).
Focus on improving the operations of employees, streamlining and arranging personnel effectively, implementing new dishes to attract customers, strictly controlling costs... to increase business efficiency, ensure revenue according to the assigned plan, focus on directing and supervising business activities and improving competitiveness and professionalism of the Guest House
On this occasion, the General Confederation Guest House and Ho Chi Minh City Branch also presented the Commemorative Medal for the Cause of Building the Trade Union to 17 officials and employees of the guest house.
