On August 9, the Gò Công Trade Union Federation (LĐLĐ TP Gò Công) in Tiền Giang Province organized a contest to "Learn about the Vietnam Trade Union and the Resolution of the Trade Union Congress at all levels."
Seventy-five trade union officials from the trade union federation participated in the contest, divided into 25 teams. The contestants went through three parts of the contest, including: multiple-choice questions, answering questions, and guessing words.
Chairman of the LĐLĐ TP Gò Công Trần Tuyết Nhung said that the contest aimed to widely disseminate the glorious tradition of the working class; 95 years of building and developing the Vietnam Trade Union organization among trade union members, workers, and civil servants, and the whole society. Through this, it helps to understand the correct and clear position, role, function, task, and great contributions of the Vietnam Trade Union organization in building and developing the country's economy and society.
The contest is a political activity, aiming to implement, disseminate, and widely popularize the Resolution of the 13th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, the 2023-2028 term, the Resolution of the 11th Tiền Giang Trade Union Congress, and the Resolution of the Trade Union Congress at all levels. Through this, it creates a high level of unity in awareness and action, and determination to implement the Resolution successfully among trade union officials, trade union members, and workers on the territory of Gò Công Town.
At the end of the contest, the organizing committee awarded the First Prize to the joint team of the Gò Công State Treasury and the Financial-Planning Bloc. In addition, the LĐLĐ province of Tiền Giang awarded 27 certificates of merit to 27 individuals with outstanding achievements in the online contest to learn about the Resolution of the Trade Union Congress at all levels and legal documents on implementing democracy at the grassroots level in 2024 organized by the LĐLĐ province of Tiền Giang. At the same time, the LĐLĐ TP Gò Công also awarded 5 collectives that have actively mobilized trade union members to participate well in the online contest organized by the LĐLĐ province of Tiền Giang.
On this occasion, with the authorization of the Vietnam General Confederation, the LĐLĐ TP Gò Công presented a commemorative medal "For the cause of building the trade union organization" to Mrs. Nguyễn Thị Thu Thủy - Chairman of the CĐCS of Long Hoà Primary School.
