Assigning grassroots trade unions to remove difficulties and obstacles
At the end of the year, the Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labor organized a meeting of grassroots trade unions (CDCS) in 5 areas to listen to and remove difficulties and obstacles, while focusing on activities to care for the 2026 Binh Ngo Lunar New Year for union members and workers.
The whole province of Dong Nai currently has 52 industrial parks in operation, with 2,298 grassroots unions with more than 784,000 union members. Of which, for area 2 (formerly Trang Bom district, Vinh Cuu district), there are 260 grassroots unions, with more than 160,000 union members.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Thang - Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labor, Head of the Trade Union Committee of Industrial Parks said: To achieve high efficiency in trade union activities, the Provincial Federation of Labor has developed a plan for 5 regional trade union meetings, discussed 3 key issues that the trade union organization will implement in the last period of the year, including: Understanding the situation of trade union activities and labor relations, especially from July 1 to now, which has been difficult and favorable; Focus on the plan to direct the Trade Union Congresses at all levels towards the 1st Dong Nai Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030; Organize the implementation of activities to care for, represent and protect union members and workers, especially during the Binh Ngo 2026. In addition, there is the issue of worker security at the end of the year.
The grassroots trade unions reflect difficulties and obstacles to share and discuss together in order to reach consensus and implementation Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labor Nguyen Duc Thang suggested.
At the meetings, the Trade Unions gave their opinions on increasing the allocation of bus tickets, train tickets, gifts for union members and workers, etc. Mr. Le Nhat Truong - Chairman of the Trade Union of Pou Sung Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Bau Xeo Industrial Park, An Vien Commune, Dong Nai Province) proposed that the Provincial Federation of Labor should maintain effective union activities of the Trang Bom District Federation of Labor (previously). At the same time, for preferential shopping programs, it is necessary to diversify essential products for union members and workers.

Focus on diversifying the propaganda work of practical activities of trade union organizations;
Deputy Head of the Trade Union of Industrial Parks of Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labor Nguyen Huu Dai also suggested that the Trade Unions, depending on the conditions, organize Tet reunion programs, entertainment activities; Organize visits and give Tet gifts to union members and workers in special difficulties; Organize shuttle buses to welcome union members and workers who have not returned home for Tet for many years...
Thousands of tickets from trade unions to bring union members and workers back to their hometowns to celebrate Tet
Currently, the Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labor has deployed a plan to support 2,200 bus tickets for the 2026 Youth Union Members' Tet - Spring Bus trip program to send workers home to celebrate Binh Ngo 2026. In addition, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor allocated Dong Nai with 450 train tickets and 120 plane tickets to take union members and workers home for Tet.
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2026, Dong Nai has 9,300 union members who will be given shopping vouchers at the rate of VND500,000/voucher when participating in the online Trade Union Tet Market - Spring 2026 organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
The Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labor also implemented a plan to organize Tet reunion activities, family meetings of workers; arts, sports, meetings, exchanges, and lucky draws in industrial parks, boarding houses, and enterprises, hoping that all union members and workers can enjoy spring and celebrate Tet in a joyful and warm atmosphere.
The union also proposed to visit, give gifts, encourage union members in difficulty who did not return home for Tet, and support bus tickets and means of transportation. At the same time, announce early the time off for Tet, pay salaries and bonuses so that union members can work with peace of mind.
According to Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province, Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor Nguyen Quoc Dung, taking good care of union members and workers is a premise for good protection for workers, thereby helping to harmonize labor relations between employers and workers, helping businesses develop more and more, and improve workers' lives.
