Difficult union members in Sa Pa receive gifts on April 30

Lao Cai - Meaningful gifts handed over not only provide material support but also are a source of spiritual encouragement, helping union members in Sa Pa overcome difficulties.

To celebrate the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2026), a delegation from Lao Cai province visited and presented gifts to policy families, people with meritorious services, and union members and workers in difficult circumstances in Sa Pa ward.

The activity is implemented according to Plan No. 190 of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee, showing the practical concern of Party committees and authorities for those in difficult circumstances, especially workers and laborers.

Among the cases visited were two trade union members belonging to the Sa Pa Ward Trade Union with special circumstances.

Mr. Vang A Tong - a member of the Trade Union of Cao Nguyen Hotel is a single father raising three young children of school age and Ms. Hua Thi Duyen - a member of the Sun World Fansipan Sa Pa Trade Union - whose parents died, currently living with their elderly grandmother.

On this occasion, each union member received gifts worth a total of 4.5 million VND, including gifts from the Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee worth 2.5 million VND/gift (in cash and in kind), gifts from the Sa Pa Ward Party Committee 1 million VND and gifts from the Ward Trade Union 1 million VND.

Not only carrying material value, the gifts are also timely spiritual encouragement, helping workers alleviate difficulties and gain more faith to continue to stick with their work and strive to rise up in life.
