Rich learning content, associated with practice
The Standing Committee of Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor has just issued guidelines for extensive implementation of studying, following and setting an example according to Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style among cadres, union members and workers in 2025.
The goal is to make studying and following Uncle Ho a voluntary, regular action of each cadre and union member. Thereby contributing to building a strong Trade Union organization, building a team of cadres and party members with courage, pure ethics, responsibility for work, fighting bureaucracy, corruption and negativity.
According to the instructions, trade unions at all levels will focus on implementing 3 groups of learning content, including 11 contents on Ho Chi Minh's ideology, 4 contents on moral example and 7 contents on his style. Along with that are 3 groups of content "following" associated with daily work.
The forms of learning will be diverse, from concentrated learning, thematic activities, exchanges, sightseeing, self-study, to participating in competitions to learn about Uncle Ho. In particular, studying and following Uncle Ho will be associated with familiar emulation movements among workers, civil servants, and laborers such as "Good at work, Creative at work", "Good at public work, good at housework"...
Located about 200km from the center of Lao Cai province, Mr. Sung Seo Giong - a civil servant of Sin Che commune - shared: "Studying and following Uncle Ho is not a distant thing, but look at his simple example to improve yourself. In which, the most familiar and practical is effort and dedication to the work you take on every day. It is the transformation of cadres and civil servants that has contributed to helping people in mountainous areas to quickly and effectively resolve administrative procedures after operating two-level governments".
Many initiatives and good practices
Speaking with Lao Dong, Mr. Nguyen Chuong Phat - Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor - said: "Studying, following and setting an example according to Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style must be done regularly, associated with the duties and tasks of each individual. The results of the implementation of the commitment will be one of the important criteria for evaluating cadres, party members, and union members annually.
According to Mr. Phat, in 2025, Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor is managing 101 grassroots unions with nearly 40,000 union members. The goal is that 100% of cadres, union members, and workers will sign a commitment to set an example, cultivate, practice, and strive annually according to the direction of the Party Committee.
Each grassroots union, industry union, industrial park union will build 3-5 specific models, selecting 5-7 advanced models to spread in the system. In addition, trade unions at all levels will increase propaganda, introduce advanced models, good models, and creative ways to spread in the area, emphasized the Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor.
