Attending the ceremony were representatives of the Provincial Federation of Labor, representatives of the Thap Muoi Commune Trade Union, leaders and grassroots trade unions of Ty Thac Company Limited, and representatives of the government of Doc Binh Kieu Commune, Dong Thap Province.
Ms. Tran Thi Tham's family is in difficult circumstances, including 3 people. Ms. Tham's husband is a freelancer with no stable income; his son has just started working and has a low income. Currently, Ms. Tham is the main breadwinner, with an average income of only about 6.2 million VND/month. The family has no land to cultivate, and has to live in a dilapidated house with rotten and leaky walls in the rainy season.
From the Dong Thap Golden Heart Social Charity Fund, Ms. Tham was supported with 60 million VND to build a new house. After nearly two months of construction, the solid house with an area of 133 m2 was completed, with a total cost of 190 million VND; the rest was contributed by the family.
At the handover ceremony, representatives of the Provincial Federation of Labor presented the support decision and a symbolic board of 60 million VND. The Trade Union of Ty Thac Company Limited and the government of Doc Binh Kieu commune also presented gifts of encouragement.
