29/3 Textile and Garment Joint Stock Company, one of the largest textile and garment enterprises in Da Nang, always needs to recruit a large number of workers.
Mr. Huynh Minh Tri, a recruiter, General Department of 29/3 Textile Joint Stock Company, said: "Our recruitment demand is always high, especially for garment workers. Therefore, in addition to traditional recruitment channels, we also apply policies such as 3-month rental support for workers and laborers in difficult circumstances. This is an effective way, helping us access potential labor sources quickly".
According to Mr. Huynh Minh Tri, after Tet, 99% of workers return to work on the 8th day of the Lunar New Year. Currently, this unit has about 2,700 workers and laborers. Not only that, since January 1, 2025, 29/3 Textile Joint Stock Company has begun recruiting workers. "Although there is no fixed number, workers who are in need and meet the requirements are recruited by our company" - Mr. Huynh Minh Tri said.
Recruitment fever
Not only 29/3 Textile and Garment Joint Stock Company, PI Vina Danang Company Limited, specializing in the production and processing of garments for export to the US and European markets, is also actively implementing a reward program for those introducing workers.
With an attractive bonus of 1.5 million VND for each successfully introduced employee, PI Vina Danang hopes to attract a large number of workers this year. Notably, not only the introducer benefits, but also the newly recruited workers receive a welcome bonus worth 1.5 million VND.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Cam Tho - Chairwoman of the Trade Union of PI Vina Danang Company Limited - said: "This policy is a thank you to the introducer and also a welcome gift for new workers. We want to create a stable working environment with good income, attracting and retaining workers.
In early 2025, according to Ms. Nguyen Thi Cam Tho, the unit needs to recruit 100 unskilled workers to meet current needs. Therefore, not only rewarding new workers, PI Vina Danang Company Limited also has a preferential policy to re-recruit old garment workers to return to work, such as keeping the old basic salary for workers classified as A, B or higher, keeping the salary for specialties, rewarding 1.5 million VND and receiving gifts worth 250,000 VND.
The application of companies to reward workers is considered a temporary solution in the context of a shortage of human resources. To make this policy truly effective and sustainable, businesses need to combine it with improving training quality, improving the working environment, ensuring good treatment and paying attention to the spiritual life of workers.
Currently, the Management Board of Da Nang High-Tech Park and Industrial Zones is managing 500 enterprises with 70,000 workers, including 129 foreign-invested enterprises. Many enterprises have organized to launch production at the beginning of the year from the 6th of the Lunar New Year to keep up with the production progress according to market orders in 2025.
According to the leader of the Management Board of Da Nang High-Tech Park and Industrial Zones, most enterprises have many policies and incentives on salary, bonus, welfare policies, health care, increasing the value of shift meals... contributing to keeping employees safe and committed for a long time.
