On August 24, the Gia Lai Provincial Federation of Labor (GFF) said that it had directed grassroots unions at enterprises to increase awards and practical encouragement for employees with initiatives and technical improvements.
In recent times, many businesses, especially the private sector, have focused on encouraging workers to promote creative ideas. In some units, initiative proposals have become a movement, helping businesses improve their competitiveness in the context of many market fluctuations.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Ha - Chairman of the Trade Union of An Khe Sugar Factory (Gia Lai) - said: "The factory's character is industrial production, so the company always sets emulation targets for initiatives and technical improvement. Each initiative applied to production has brought practical results, the union has rewarded 2 million VND/iniative.
An Khe sugar factory currently has 656 regular workers, 100% of whom are union members. On average, each year, about 25-30 initiatives are applied, contributing to optimizing profits for businesses.

At Tay Nguyen Nafoods Joint Stock Company (An Phu Ward, Gia Lai), workers with effective initiatives are not only rewarded by the grassroots union but also evaluated by the company's Innovation Council, estimated the value of benefits to be awarded accordingly.
Nafoods Central Highlands specializes in processing and trading passion fruit and linking agricultural product purchases with farmers in the western area of Gia Lai.
Every day, hundreds of workers work at the factory to meet domestic and foreign consumption needs. The representative of the grassroots trade union assessed that many initiatives of workers have brought clear economic efficiency, helping businesses increase their competitiveness in the market.
