On February 6, the Soc Trang Provincial Federation of Labor organized a delegation to visit, encourage and give gifts to union members and workers returning to work after the Lunar New Year.
Attending the event were Mr. Lam Van Man - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Soc Trang province; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Son - Chairman of the Soc Trang Provincial Federation of Labor.
The delegation visited workers at Jia Zhi Co., Ltd. - Soc Trang; HS Vietnam Chemical Co., Ltd. - Soc Trang Branch and Nha Be Garment Joint Stock Company - Soc Trang Branch.
Representatives of the company leaders reported on the care of workers' lives during the Lunar New Year, emphasizing that all workers received gifts and bonuses in full. After the Tet holiday, most workers returned to work stably, ensuring production progress.
Speaking at the destinations, Secretary of Soc Trang Provincial Party Committee Lam Van Man praised the achievements that businesses have made in the past year. At the same time, he acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of businesses in stabilizing production and business and taking care of the material and spiritual life of workers.
"2025 is the year of acceleration and breakthrough, the province will achieve the goal of striving for double-digit economic growth or more. Therefore, the development of the province's enterprises will make an important contribution to the realization of this goal," Mr. Man emphasized.
The Secretary of the Soc Trang Provincial Party Committee hopes that in the coming time, enterprises need to continue to innovate their management and corporate governance methods; ensure technical safety, labor safety, industrial hygiene; and fully implement policies and regimes for employees according to the provisions of law.
“Enterprises should consider employees as family members, as valuable human resources to create product value. Therefore, it is necessary to implement well the regimes and policies on wages, bonuses, working hours, shift meals, and ensure the health of employees,” the Secretary of the Soc Trang Provincial Party Committee emphasized.
The Secretary of the Soc Trang Provincial Party Committee suggested that union members and employees in companies continue to stick with the enterprises, consider the enterprises as their home, thereby improving their skills, creating the best products, contributing to the sustainable development of the enterprises.
On this occasion, the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee and the Soc Trang Provincial Labor Federation presented 100 gifts to union members and workers and sent best wishes to businesses.
