Enterprises do not limit recruitment age
These days at the Hanoi Employment Service Center, the recruitment and job search atmosphere is very bustling. Dozens of businesses with diverse industries were present to conduct direct interviews, finding suitable candidates for the missing positions, preparing for the peak production and business cycle in the last months of the year. In addition to positions for young workers, many businesses have proactively loosened age requirements, creating opportunities for even middle-aged workers.
A clear demonstration of this trend is the case of Sigma Technical Joint Stock Company, operating in the field of electromechanical. Talking to reporters, Mr. Nguyen Van Hoi, representative of the company, said that the enterprise is in need of recruiting 50-70 workers in this period.
Regarding age requirements, Mr. Hoi affirmed: "With Sigma, we always comply with state regulations, workers must be 18 years old or older. However, the maximum age is very flexible. Currently, we still recruit female workers up to 50-55 years old, depending on health, and male workers can be up to 60 years old".
Similarly, in the restaurant service sector, Ms. Nguyen Khanh Vy, representative of Golden Gate Group Joint Stock Company, also shared that the company's restaurant model does not limit age.
"Only workers aged 18 to under 50 can apply for many positions from waiter, kitchen assistant to breadwinner, security guard. We hope to recruit suitable candidates who want to work long-term," said Ms. Vy.
Creating a job supermarket, connecting labor supply and demand
Not only in Hanoi, the demand for unskilled labor and production workers is increasing in many provinces and cities. To meet this wave, job service centers have increased connectivity, creating an inter-regional recruitment space, making it easier for workers and businesses to find each other.
Mr. Vu Quang Thanh - Deputy Director of the Hanoi Employment Service Center, said that this job fair was organized online with 6 provinces and cities, attracting more than 100 participating businesses with a total recruitment target of more than 20,000 people. At the Hanoi bridge point alone, there are 36 enterprises with a need to recruit more than 1,000 targets, diverse in professional positions.

According to Mr. Thanh, the third quarter is the time when businesses increase production to serve the year-end market, so the demand for recruitment, especially unskilled workers and production workers in industrial parks, is very large.
"Currently, businesses are in great need of human resources to serve production. The demand for simple labor recruitment and production workers in the provinces is also very large, not just in Hanoi," Mr. Thanh analyzed.
By regularly connecting with provinces and cities, the Hanoi Employment Service Center has created a job supermarket, a regional linkage ecosystem that helps workers access thousands of recruitment positions in just one trading session. This not only helps solve the human resource problem for businesses but also opens up valuable job opportunities for workers of many different ages.
