On October 29, Thanh Nam Ward Trade Union successfully held the 1st Congress, term 2025 - 2030. The Congress was attended by 156 outstanding delegates, representing nearly 5,500 union members in the ward.
After reorganizing the apparatus and implementing two-level local government, Thanh Nam Ward Trade Union was officially established on September 5, 2025 and is currently managing 38 grassroots unions with nearly 5,500 union members.
With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", the Congress assessed the situation of workers in the area in recent times. At the same time, identify goals, targets, direction of tasks and solutions for the 2025 - 2030 term.
The Political Report of the Thanh Nam Ward Trade Union Executive Committee submitted to the Congress stated that immediately after its establishment, the Ward Trade Union quickly stabilized its organization, actively and proactively performed its functions well, participating in management, representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers.
The work of caring for union members and employees has been implemented in many creative ways, bringing practical results.
In the 2025 - 2030 term, Thanh Nam Ward Trade Union aims to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation in a practical and effective manner, for the benefit of union members and employees.
The Congress set out the main targets, each year over 90% of union members and employees are able to study and disseminate the Party's directives and resolutions, the State's policies and laws, and the resolutions of the Trade Union; 85% of female union members and employees achieve the title of "Good at public work, good at housework" at the grassroots level.
Every year, 100% of grassroots trade unions in state-owned enterprises and 75% of non-state trade unions participate in implementing democratic regulations at the workplace; 100% of public service units organize conferences for civil servants, employees, etc.
Coordinate inter-sectoral supervision of at least 3 - 5 units and enterprises on the implementation of labor, trade union, and social insurance laws according to Decision 217-QD/TW dated December 12, 2013 of the Politburo.
Continue to promote digital transformation, apply information technology, encourage union officials to apply artificial intelligence in their work.
At the Congress of the Ninh Binh Provincial Federation of Labor, the Decision of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor on the appointment of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and key positions of the Thanh Nam Ward Trade Union for the 2025 - 2030 term was announced.
Accordingly, Mr. Do Quoc Vinh was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Thanh Nam Ward Trade Union for the 2025 - 2030 term.
