In the 2023-2025 pilot period, the Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry Trade Union (IUH) has demonstrated its pioneering role in caring for the material and spiritual lives of civil servants and employees; effectively implemented the "Green - Clean - Beautiful - Workplace Safety" movement, organized many charity activities, built an IUH culture of humanity, responsibility and creativity.
In particular, the Executive Committee of the IUH School Trade Union in the past term has promoted the spirit of solidarity, proactiveness, creativity, both accompanying the School in innovation and being an important bridge between leaders and workers, contributing to helping the School become one of the prestigious, quality training institutions, and deeply integrating internationally...
Speaking at the congress, Chairman of the Vietnam Trade Union of Industry and Trade Le An Hai praised and highly appreciated the achievements of the IUH School Trade Union for the 2023-2025 term.
According to Mr. Le An Hai, IUH is one of the typical units, with a large scale and an important position in the higher education system, as well as in the Vietnamese Industry and Trade sector.
To keep up with the development trend and meet new requirements, the school's trade union activities also need to change more strongly, Mr. Le An Hai suggested that the IUH School Trade Union Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term focus on a number of contents:
First, innovate the thinking and methods of trade union activities, associated with the digital transformation process, improve communication efficiency, apply technology in managing union members, organizing movements and caring for workers' lives.
Second, foster and develop high-quality trade union human resources, improve capacity, courage and skills to adapt to the modern educational environment.
Third, promote practical activities associated with expertise, encourage staff, lecturers, and workers to propose initiatives and improvements in teaching, research, and community service; create an emulation environment for learning and creativity spreading throughout the school.
Fourth, continue to promote the spirit of "Accompanying - Sharing - Spreading love", better care for the material and spiritual life of civil servants and employees, building IUH School into a happy, united and creative working environment.
Mr. Le An Hai affirmed that the Vietnam Trade Union will always accompany, orient and support the IUH Trade Union in the process of innovation, from training cadres, organizing emulation movements, to applying technology in trade union activities, worthy of being a bright spot of the Vietnam Trade Union system, contributing to spreading the image of intellectual and creative workers in the new era.
