Enterprises listen, trade unions propose
Mr. Nguyen Van Be Hai - Chairman of the Trade Union of FAS Company - said that this year, the unit has agreed to increase the meal allowance from 50,000 VND to 62,000 VND.
According to him, this adjustment not only helps meals become more quality and richer but also shows the company's concern for workers during major holidays.
At Leader Vietnam Garment Company Limited, the trade union also proactively proposed to increase the spending for workers' gifts during annual tours on the occasion of National Day.
Mr. Ho Minh Sang - Chairman of the company's Trade Union - said that if in previous years the cost was about 100 million VND, this year it will increase to 150 million VND.
According to Mr. Sang, this additional support has created excitement, collective cohesion, and at the same time encouraged workers to strive to produce and contribute to the development of enterprises.
