The spirit of dedication through research projects
Although only a 4th-year student majoring in Data Science at the University of Science - Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, Vo Ngoc Minh Anh (22 years old, Ho Chi Minh City) already possesses an impressive scientific research "fortune". This female student born in 2004 is the author of 8 articles published in prestigious domestic and international scientific journals and conferences.

Minh Anh is also a familiar face in technology arenas with a series of prestigious awards such as: First Prize "UIT Data Science Challenge 2023", Second Prize "AI Hackathon 2025", Second Prize "Hackhcmc 2024" and especially the award "Vietnamese Female Student of Science and Technology 2025". Notably, at the beginning of this year, the 22-year-old female student was also honored to receive the title of Typical Young Citizen of Ho Chi Minh City in 2025, recognizing her efforts and contributions in the research process.
Minh Anh's research is always aimed at practical and community values. Minh Anh believes that AI is not just an independent technology, but a tool connecting many different fields to solve complex urban problems.
In the context of building Ho Chi Minh City into a smart city, I want to apply AI and data to support making decisions based on real data, and at the same time, build systems capable of understanding the context and needs of people in each specific situation" - Minh Anh shared.
Possessing many studies on AI and data, Minh Anh believes that technology must put people at the center. No matter how advanced algorithms are, the value of AI is only truly promoted when it is suitable for the lives, habits and actual needs of people.
For me, a good technology system must be easy to use, useful and can become a part of daily life. When technology is truly close and practically supports people, that is also how I want to contribute to building a more modern, sustainable and livable Ho Chi Minh City" - Minh Anh shared.
From the perspective of the usefulness of technology, this female student also places her faith in the inner strength of young people who are striving to position Vietnamese intelligence in the digital transformation flow of the country.
Minh Anh confided: "I have great faith in the Gen Z generation of Ho Chi Minh City, a dynamic generation, quick-witted with technology and ambitious to reach out to the world. What I expect is that you will not only stop at using technology, but will become technology creators, daring to step into difficult fields such as AI, data science, biotechnology or automation. When we are serious about knowledge, persistent with goals and maintain the spirit of learning, affirming Vietnamese intelligence on the world technology map is not a distant thing but a completely achievable journey.
Initiative of young people for preschool education
In the development flow of Ho Chi Minh City, besides the contributions of individuals, there are also collectives and the force of Youth Union - Association officials who also constantly contribute with practical models and initiatives, closely following social needs.
In which, the initiative to organize playgrounds for preschool teachers of non-public schools through the "Incubator" Contest implemented by the Youth Union and Children's Affairs Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Employment Service Center has become a meaningful professional playground, creating conditions for non-public teachers to exchange, learn and improve their expertise.

Through 4 times of organization from 2019 to 2025, the contest has attracted more than 1,300 preschool teachers. Not only stopping at one contest, "Incubator" also contributes to spreading the image of dedicated teachers, and at the same time, affirms the companion role of the Youth Union organization in supporting young workers in the field of education. This initiative was also honored to receive the Ho Hao Hon Award in 2026 - an award to honor collectives and individuals who have made positive contributions to Youth Union work and the youth and children's movement in Ho Chi Minh City.
Representative of the initiative group, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thao - Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Employment Service Center said that the initiative honored at the Ho Hao Hon Award in 2026 is a great pride, and at the same time, it is a motivation for the unit to continue to deploy more playgrounds and practical solutions for the non-public sector.

Everything has persistently nurtured the unique identity, patriotism, steadfastness, dynamism, creativity, and affection of the city's youth. In the new era of the country, in the new development space of Ho Chi Minh City, the Party Committee, government, and people of the city always place complete faith in today's generation of youth.
