Focusing on solutions for young workers to reduce life pressure

Through researching the Draft Report submitted to the 14th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, I see that the draft is prepared quite elaborately and comprehensively, clearly showing the spirit of innovation, strongly oriented towards grassroots levels and taking union members and workers as the center.I am very hopeful that in the next term, Trade Union activities will become more substantive, closer and accompany workers more.
From the reality at the enterprise, I hope the draft will further clarify the criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of trade union activities in a more substantive direction, such as the effectiveness of dialogue, resolving petitions or the level of satisfaction of union members and workers; thereby, helping Trade Union activities become more in-depth.
In addition, currently, female workers and young workers are facing quite a lot of pressure on employment, income, skills and family life.In my opinion, in addition to care and support, it is necessary to pay more attention to solutions to improve professional skills, digital skills and create development opportunities for workers to be more confident, improve income and stabilize their long-term lives.
In addition, I also expect digital transformation in the Trade Union organization to directly serve union members more, such as increasing online legal advice channels, receiving online feedback or supporting skills training for workers, so that union members can more clearly feel the accompanying role of the Trade Union organization in the new situation.I believe that the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress will propose many practical policies, continue to enhance the role and position of the Trade Union organization and take better care of union members and workers in the coming period.
