Supporting people to return to their hometowns for Tet and return to work
Accordingly, the Dong Nai Provincial Labor Federation coordinates with the Department of Home Affairs to implement practical welfare activities such as: Supporting more than 2,200 free bus tickets to take workers to the Northern, Central and Central Highlands provinces; Supporting more than 600 train tickets and air tickets, helping workers feel secure to return to their hometowns and return to work after Tet.
In addition, Dong Nai also plans to give Tet gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, who have had labor accidents or serious illnesses; organize a variety of cultural and artistic programs, draw prizes and give gifts directly in industrial parks and boarding houses with large numbers of workers, contributing to bringing a warm Tet atmosphere to workers.
Deputy Director of Dong Nai Department of Home Affairs Mai Xuan Tuan said: Tet care work in 2026 in Dong Nai is being implemented synchronously, practically and humanely from the province to the grassroots level. This is not only a social security solution but also a long-term strategy to retain human resources and stabilize labor relations. These efforts affirm the strong commitment of Dong Nai province in accompanying businesses and workers to overcome challenges, towards sustainable development in the new year; at the same time, creating motivation for union members and workers to feel secure in working, sticking together for a long time, and improving labor productivity.
Ms. Bui Thi Bich Thuy - Standing Vice President of Dong Nai Provincial Labor Federation - also said: During the 2026 Lunar New Year, the Provincial Labor Federation proactively participates with departments and agencies to coordinate in grasping the situation, supervising employers in paying salaries and bonuses, having plans and notifying Tet holiday schedules to union members and workers; promptly detecting and having solutions to protect the rights of union members and workers in businesses facing difficulties, salary arrears, owners fleeing or dissolving, bankruptcy, contributing to stabilizing labor relations during Tet.
At the same time, the Provincial Labor Federation also implemented measures to detect and prevent labor disputes and collective work stoppages arising during Tet and participated in timely and effective handling, contributing to ensuring security and order in the locality, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers.

In which, the budget of more than 74 billion VND was allocated to give 74,400 gifts (worth 1 million VND/gift); Deploying a large-scale campaign with "Flights - Trains - Trade Union Buses", bringing nearly 3,000 workers far from home for many years to reunite with their families; Allocating 9,300 vouchers for "Trade Union Tet Market" online and organizing "Year-end Meals" to create an atmosphere of solidarity, understanding, trust, and attachment of union members and workers to the Trade Union organization and businesses.
In particular, Dong Nai authorities at all levels closely coordinate to monitor salaries and bonuses, resolutely protect the rights of workers before the New Year.
