The Provincial Federation of Labor has just implemented a plan to organize Trade Union Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, towards the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, for the 2026-2031 term.
According to the plan, the Commune and Ward Trade Unions will hold a Conference for the 2025-2030 term and complete before October 31, 2025. The Sonadezi Corporation Trade Union, Dofico Corporation Trade Union, grassroots Trade Union, and grassroots Trade Unions will hold congresses and conferences and complete before December 31, 2025.
For grassroots trade unions and grassroots trade unions with less than 200 union members, if they do not meet the conditions for holding a congress, they will hold a conference for all union members or an expanded Executive Committee Conference. In particular, units allocated delegates to attend the Provincial Trade Union Congress will hold a congress earlier than prescribed.
The official congress and conference time is no more than 1 session, encouraged to be associated with the summary of trade union work in 2025 of the unit and enterprise.
The 1st Dong Nai Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030, will be completed before December 31, 2025, the congress time is no more than 2 sessions.
Regarding the number of Executive Committees of Trade Unions at all levels: Grassroots trade unions and grassroots trade unions are elected with a minimum of 3 members, up to a maximum of 25 members (based on the number of union members of the unit); general trade unions are elected with 27 members; commune and ward trade unions are elected with a minimum of 11 members, up to a maximum of 19 members (based on the number of union members). For the Provincial Federation of Labor, the maximum is 45 members.
