On the afternoon of December 28, the Trade Union of Southern Power Corporation (EVNSPC Trade Union) chaired a ceremony to sign a commitment to emulation - commendation, launch a peak sprint, determined to complete the project "Tran De 110kV Transmission Line - Soc Trang 220kV Substation" on schedule, on quality, and absolutely safe.
The ceremony was attended by the grassroots trade unions of Can Tho City, Dong Thap, An Giang Power Companies and related units.
Faced with urgent requirements on progress, Southern Power Corporation (EVNSPC) issued Decision No. 3665 mobilizing nearly 100 officials, engineers, and workers from units to support the project. This is a force that directly participated in the construction of the 500kV high-voltage power line circuit 3 Quang Trach - Pho Noi in 2023, with rich practical experience, solid skills, strict discipline, and readiness to work in difficult and high-pressure conditions.
Currently, the project is entering the final stage, in the context of complex weather and terrain, intertwined with progress requirements. The emulation movement was launched to promote units to organize continuous construction, taking advantage of each hour, each day, determined to "overcome the sun, win against the rain, stick to the construction site", ensuring labor safety and technical quality at the highest level.
According to the emulation commitment content, units agreed to focus on strictly implementing key criteria: not allowing labor accidents to occur; continuous construction, on schedule and exceeding schedule; maintaining environmental hygiene; civilized behavior, not affecting people's daily lives. The goal is to complete the entire workload before December 31, 2025.
To deepen the emulation movement, EVNSPC Trade Union deploys a timely and clear reward mechanism, closely linked to the results of implementation. Accordingly, units that excellently complete tasks will be rewarded from 20–30 million VND/unit, along with certificates of merit and rewards for typical individuals. The grassroots trade unions of Can Tho, Dong Thap, and An Giang Power Companies also proactively develop on-the-spot reward plans, creating a vibrant emulation atmosphere right on the construction site.
Representative of EVNSPC Trade Union, Mr. Pham Nguyen Minh Chau - Vice Chairman of EVNSPC Trade Union - directly visited, encouraged and presented gifts to the forces who are clinging to the construction site day and night. Timely words of encouragement are a spiritual support, adding motivation for workers to feel secure in their work, maintaining a safe and effective construction pace.
