Mr. Tran Luu Phong - Chairman of An Giang Industrial Zone Union - said that on the occasion of April 30, the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South, reunification of the country, most workers working in businesses have rewarded. Depending on the production and business situation of each company and business, the regime and bonuses are different.
Only businesses apply the bonus on the salary date, the rest apply the mass bonus. However, the reward during the holiday season has given members, workers and psychological workers, especially before May 23, 2025, the Labor Federation of An Giang province chose Binh Hoa Industrial Park as the venue for the launching ceremony of workers in 2025 and organized to support 6 "trade unions" (VND 50 million/unit), 160 gifts for union members, workers and workers with difficult circumstances.
Currently, An Giang province has 2 industrial parks that are attracting many businesses: Binh Hoa Industrial Park (Chau Thanh district) and Binh Long Industrial Park (Chau Phu district). This place is attracting 15 businesses with 19,301 employees. During the April 30 holiday, there are 2 enterprises with 402 employees working without a bonus regime. The remaining 18,899 employees working at 13 enterprises will receive bonuses.
In some places, the bonus level is spent by the enterprise, there are places where the bonus is paid by the grassroots trade union. Hoa Phat Fisheries Processing and Import Export Joint Stock Company is the only unit that applies both forms of reward and also an enterprise with the highest reward for employees with a total amount of 550,000 VND/person. The lowest reward is 100,000 VND/person. More praiseworthy is that 100% of businesses are producing and doing business stably.
According to Mr. Phong, up to now, no unit has applied the regime of reduced working hours or temporarily suspended labor contracts due to lack of orders. On the contrary, there are 6 enterprises continuing to recruit over 4,000 more workers. Mr. Phong also said that 100% of businesses applying the April 30 and May 1 holiday regime will all return to work on May 2, 2025.
