Binh Duong: Workers are congested on motorbikes to return home for holidays
At 8:50 p.m. on April 29, the authorities of Binh Duong province are trying to regulate traffic on the route connecting to Ho Chi Minh City.
According to records, most companies give workers 2 days off, April 30 and May 1.
Many young workers have used motorbikes as a means of transportation to return to their hometowns in the Western provinces. From around 6pm, motorbikes began pouring into Huynh Van Cu Street to cross Phu Cuong Bridge, moving to Ho Chi Minh City.
Due to the large number of vehicles pouring in at the same time, Huynh Van Cu Street was congested for a long time. Thousands of vehicles lined up to move slowly to get through Cu Chi, Ho Chi Minh City.

At the Phu Cuong bridge toll station (Thu Dau Mot city, Binh Duong), the number of vehicles pouring in was too large, the toll station was blocked at the bridgehead, causing traffic overload.
The line of cars and motorbikes inched forward. The smell of gasoline and dust is strong. Because the road on the Ho Chi Minh City side was narrow, by 8:50 p.m. the same day, vehicles were still moving slowly. The road is only about 2km, it takes people nearly an hour to travel.

Vehicles extended to the expressway access road in Ho Chi Minh City to go on the April 30 holiday
On the afternoon of April 29, people left Ho Chi Minh City to return home for the April 30 and May 15 holidays, causing a long traffic jam on the expressway access area at the eastern gateway and a slight congestion in the western part of Ho Chi Minh City.
According to Lao Dong on the afternoon of April 29, thousands of vehicles lined up to move slowly into the area of the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway (eastern gateway of Ho Chi Minh City) and Trung Luong - Ho Chi Minh City expressway (western gateway of Ho Chi Minh City).

Recorded at the entrance to Trung Luong - Ho Chi Minh City Expressway (towards Nguyen Van Linh Street), vehicles poured here in large numbers, causing slight congestion.

At the An Phu intersection and the access road to the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway, there were local and prolonged traffic jams. The main vehicles are cars and passenger cars traveling to the provinces for the April 30 and May 1 holidays.

Mr. Nguyen Phuc Chau (residing in District 4) said that his family moved to Vung Tau to celebrate, but when they reached the entrance to the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway, it was jammed and they had to move slowly.

This year's holiday, workers will have 5 consecutive days off, from Wednesday, April 30, 2025 to Sunday, May 4, 2025. Therefore, the number of vehicles traveling from Ho Chi Minh City to the outside of the province has increased, causing many "black spots" of traffic in Ho Chi Minh City to be constantly congested.
