Attending the ceremony was Ms. Wei Thi Tuyen, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
The 2025 "Union Meal" program was implemented by trade unions at all levels in the province from September 25. To date, the whole province has 508 grassroots unions coordinating with unit leaders and employers to organize union meals with a total cost of nearly 15.4 billion VND drawn from the budget of unions, enterprises, and companies providing meals. Nearly 253.4 thousand union members benefited from the program with an average meal value of more than 60 thousand VND/person/meal.
Grassroots trade unions have been flexible in organizing this activity to ensure compliance with characteristics, without affecting the production of units and enterprises. In addition, the program is also integrated by many grassroots trade unions with activities such as: Policy propaganda; reward and gift giving to union members. Of which, the Provincial Federation of Labor allocated funds to give 207 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances (worth 1 million VND/gift).
In addition to the achieved results, delegates frankly analyzed a number of difficulties and limitations such as: Propaganda, guidance and implementation work in some commune, ward and grassroots trade unions has not been given attention; the rate of grassroots trade unions organized is low (508/2.216 organized by grassroots trade unions, reaching 23%); some enterprises with a large number of workers have to organize meals in many shifts.
Speaking at the conference, Ms. Wei Thi Tuyen acknowledged and highly appreciated the results that trade unions at all levels, especially grassroots trade unions, have achieved in implementing the "Union Meal" program.
In the coming time, in order to continue to promote the role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers, Ms. Wei Thi Tuyen suggested that the Provincial Federation of Labor continue to direct and guide grassroots unions to effectively implement negotiations and signing of collective labor agreements; in particular, pay attention to supporting and improving the quality of shift meals for workers.

In addition, organize a variety of activities to care for union members both materially and spiritually; regularly grasp the thoughts, aspirations, lives of workers and the production and business situation of enterprises to find solutions to harmonize labor relations. In particular, continue to implement the "Union Meal" program, focusing on enterprises with many union members.
