On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 - February 27, 2025), the program "Proud melody - Where the light never goes out" is a tribute to the silent and noble contributions of the medical team - the "white- shirted soldiers" always devoted to the health of the community.
The program is jointly implemented by the Vietnam Health Trade Union and the Producers of Entertainment Programs VTV3 and the Ministry of Health. The program has just been broadcast on VTV1 channel.
The program brought the audience to listen to touching stories about complex surgeries, the times of saving lives from the hands of death, and the incredible medical achievements of Vietnam. In particular, the program recounted the miracle of simultaneous heart and liver transplants at Viet Duc Hospital - an important milestone of Vietnamese medicine in 2024. The report "Female doctor who has been living in the mountainous area of Son La for more than 20 years" is an emotional story about female doctor Nguyen Thi Lan who has been attached to the people of the mountainous area of Son La for more than 20 years, despite the difficulties in taking care of the health of the poor.
The report "Responsibility and Pride of the White- shirted Soldiers" recreates the challenging but also extremely glorious journey of the "White- shirts" from the war period to the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.
