After 15 years of implementing Resolution 6b/NQ-BCH on mobilizing female workers, civil servants, and laborers (CNVCLĐ) and Directive 03/CT-TLĐ on the movement "Good at work, good at home", the team of female CNVCLĐ in Luc Yen commune has had many clear changes, affirming their role in work and family.
Resolution 6b was issued in 2011, setting the goal of building a team of female CNVCLĐ with qualifications, skills, and bravery, meeting the requirements of industrialization and modernization of the country. From this orientation, Luc Yen Commune Trade Union has concretized it with many practical activities, associated with the tasks of each unit.
Propaganda work has been innovated in a close and accessible direction. Contents such as the Law on Gender Equality, the Law on Marriage and Family, reproductive health care, domestic violence prevention... are integrated into seminars and thematic activities. Thanks to that, the awareness of female workers and employees has gradually improved, and many women have become more confident and proactive in their work and life.
The highlight is the emulation movement "Good at state affairs, good at housework" being widely deployed, becoming a driving force for female workers and employees to strive. At agencies and units, women actively study, improve their qualifications, promote initiatives, and complete tasks well. Many people have taken on leadership positions, making important contributions to the development of the locality.

In the family, they are still "fire keepers", building a prosperous and equal home, raising children to adulthood. Every year, the rate of female workers and employees achieving the title "Good at state affairs, good at housework" always maintains above 97%, showing the strong spread of the movement.
Those persistent efforts have been recognized by many awards. In the past 15 years, the whole commune has had 2 collectives and 4 individuals awarded specialized certificates of merit by the Provincial Labor Federation; 1 collective was honored to receive the Emulation Flag of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. These typical examples are not only a source of pride but also create motivation for the emulation movement at the grassroots level.
In the coming time, the trade union will focus on three key tasks: protecting the rights of female union members; taking care of life, supporting workers in difficult circumstances; and at the same time continuing to innovate the activities of the Women's Union in a practical and effective direction," Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong - Chairwoman of Luc Yen Commune Trade Union shared.
