Hai Phong creates jobs for 38,300 workers in the first half of 2025

Hai Phong - By the end of the second quarter of 2025, the city is estimated to have created jobs for 38,300 workers, equal to 65.47% of the annual plan and 100.74% over the same period in 2024.

In the first 6 months of 2025, the Employment Service and Meritorious Nursing Center (Department of Home Affairs) organized 34 job fairs (16 direct fairs, 14 online fairs, 4 job fairs), attracting 510 businesses to participate in recruitment with a recruitment demand of 116,880 workers.

The sessions and exchanges attracted 67,250 participants, meeting 57.53% of recruitment needs. By the end of the second quarter of 2025, the whole city is estimated to have created jobs for 38,300 workers, equal to 65.47% of the annual plan and 100.74% over the same period in 2024.

Also according to the report of the People's Committee of Hai Phong City, by the end of the second quarter of 2025, the rate of trained workers is estimated at 87.5%; of which the rate of trained workers with a certificate of 3 months or more is estimated at 39.45%.

In the last 6 months of 2025, the city will continue to implement domestic and foreign job counseling and introduction. In particular, forecasting and informing the labor market and focusing on vocational skills training for workers. The Center for Employment Service and Meritorious Nursing promotes coordination with the northern provinces and cities to attract workers from other provinces to work in Hai Phong.
