Supporting more than 300,000 VND for monthly rent
According to statistics from the Industrial Park Trade Union of the Hai Phong City Labor Federation, currently, enterprises in industrial parks (IPs) support workers with an average of 302,000 VND/person/month for house rental. Of which, 73% of enterprises in Do Son Industrial Park support renting houses, an average of VND 372,000/person/month; 73% of enterprises in An Duong Industrial Park support average rental housing of VND 318,000/person/month; Dinh Vu Industrial Park has 41.8% of enterprises supporting rental housing at VND 350,000/person/month, higher than the average of industrial parks...
It is worth mentioning that Regina Miracle International Co., Ltd. (VSIP Industrial Park), Bridgestone Vietnam Tire Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (Dinh Vu Industrial Park) supported up to VND 600,000/person/month for rental, Toyota Boshoku Co., Ltd. (Japan Industrial Park - Hai Phong) supported boarding houses with VND 500,000/person/month for workers in the first year working at the company; KORG Co., Ltd. (Japan Industrial Park - Hai Phong), workers renting boarding houses were supported with travel allowances of VND 700,000/month... Many businesses have built diverse allowances to retain workers such as performance rewards, dedication, seniority, support for children, travel, menstrual allowances, foreign language allowances, summer allowances...
A few enterprises in the industrial park have invested in dormitories for workers. A typical example is LG Display Company Limited, which has a dormitory that can accommodate about 3,000 workers. Recently, the construction of the construction site for workers at Pegatron Vietnam Co., Ltd. has completed phase 1, putting into use 4 buildings for workers, 2 buildings for staff and 1 utility building with full modern functional rooms, accommodating about 4,000 people. This unit is also implementing phase 2 of the project with the expectation that after completion, it will provide accommodation for about 10,000 workers.

Take care of both material and spiritual things to retain workers
Along with the outstanding welfare policies for workers in other provinces of enterprises, the Hai Phong City Labor Union at all levels also pays special attention to this force. Recently, on November 25, red redina Miracle International Co., Ltd. (VSIP Industrial Park) organized a seminar on Workers in remote provinces - renting in 2025 with the participation of hundreds of workers.
With the theme "Connecting - Listening - Understanding - Accompanying", the seminar took place in an open and friendly atmosphere. Workers boldly share difficulties in life away from home, work, accommodation, means of transportation, welfare and issues related to spiritual life. Representatives of the Board of Directors and departments of the company also directly answered each question, acknowledged the comments and committed to promptly implementing solutions to improve working conditions.
In addition to the seminar, the program also organized mini games and gave many encouraging gifts, creating a joyful and cozy atmosphere among workers in the regions. At the end of the program, the company's leaders affirmed that they will continue to accompany, support and improve welfare for workers in remote provinces, creating conditions for workers to work with peace of mind and stay long-term.
On the side of the Hai Phong City Labor Federation, every year, the City Labor Federation gives away tens of thousands of bus tickets, organizes bus trips to take workers from far away provinces and their families back to their hometowns to celebrate Tet; organizes meetings, wishes for Tet, welcomes workers back to the city to work after Tet holiday... Programs to care for workers' months, holidays, and Tet also prioritize workers from far away provinces, workers in boarding houses, and workers in difficult circumstances. The City Labor Union also deploys many models of Civilized and safe boarding houses, installing Wi-fi, and air conditioning for free for workers...
On December 5 to 7, the City Labor Federation will organize the first Job Consulting Festival with the participation of 118 units and enterprises. Not only providing job opportunities with more than 16,000 recruitment positions, the festival also has a series of activities to care for and connect union members and workers such as health check-ups, free motorbike oil changes, social insurance policy consultation and lucky draw programs with many attractive gifts. Thereby, it promises to attract tens of thousands of workers, including workers from other provinces, to seek job opportunities, enjoy welfare and social security programs, to be more trustworthy and attached to the city.
