According to a representative of the Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation, the collective work stoppage of workers at Vienergy Ninh Binh Co., Ltd. has occurred since April 12 and continues to last until the morning of April 14.
Immediately after the incident occurred, the Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with units directly related to the company to listen to the opinions and recommendations of workers and at the same time, worked with the company's Board of Directors.
As of 10 am on April 14, the company has announced adjustments to some welfare regimes for employees from April 1, 2026. Specifically, the internal bonus regulations, if employees work for enough from 1 year to 3 years, the bonus is 100,000 VND/month, from the fourth year or more, the bonus is an additional 50,000 VND/month, the maximum bonus is 650,000 VND/month. Overtime meal allowances increased from 24,000 VND/day to 26,500 VND/day. Car gasoline allowance increased from 15,000 VND/day to 20,000 VND/day.
Currently, there are still some contents that workers have proposed, we are continuing to coordinate with relevant units to negotiate with the company's Board of Directors, ensuring the rights and working environment for workers. By 10 am on April 14, workers had basically returned to work, and a small number were still stopping work and gathering in the company premises" - a representative of the Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation informed.
Vienergy Ninh Binh Co., Ltd. has about more than 5,000 employees, about half of whom participate in collective work stoppages.
