To ensure continuous operations at factories and projects, thousands of union members and workers in Quang Ngai are still working hard through the 2025 Lunar New Year.

XDD Textile Co., Ltd., located in VSIP Quang Ngai Industrial Park, specializes in manufacturing and processing woven fabrics, currently has 2,200 workers. This year, the company has 1,100 workers registered to work during Tet.

Mr. Nguyen Van Do, a factory manager at the company, shared: "To ensure uninterrupted production, I have registered to work during the 2025 Lunar New Year. Working on Tet, the superior union will visit, congratulate the new year and give lucky money right at the factory. We hope that the provincial trade union will continue to develop and continue to care for and support workers in the following years."

Speaking to reporters, Mr. Pham Thai Duong - Chairman of the Dung Quat Economic Zone and Industrial Zones Trade Union of Quang Ngai province, said: "During the Lunar New Year 2025, many union members and workers at units such as Dung Quat Oil Refinery, Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Joint Stock Company and Textile Construction Company Limited continued to work. Leaders of the Quang Ngai Provincial Labor Federation visited, wished a happy new year and gave lucky money to encourage workers at Textile Construction Company Limited. These concerns have motivated workers, helping them to complete their work well during the Lunar New Year."

Not only at the factories, but also at the Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon Expressway project, about 500 employees also worked through Tet. Mr. Nguyen Duc Hoang - Field Technical Officer of Tunnel 3, Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon Project, confided: "On the occasion of the traditional Tet holiday, everyone wants to return home to reunite with their families and enjoy the holidays after a year of hard work. However, for the overall progress of the project, I decided to stay and work through Tet and feel proud to contribute my efforts to the early completion of this national key project."

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thanh, a worker from Thanh Hoa, working at Deo Ca Group, shared: "This year, I decided to stay for Tet and the Group has taken care of all living conditions, helping us celebrate Tet fully. The 13th month salary and bonus were also paid in full. I sent most of the money home so my wife and children could shop for Tet. Although everyone wants to be with their family during Tet, because of my duties and responsibilities at work, I still decided to stay and work to contribute to the project's construction progress."

The practical care from the trade union organization not only brings joy and motivation but also shows the affection and close connection between workers, union members and the trade union organization, especially during the Lunar New Year. This not only helps workers feel warm in the early days of spring but also contributes to promoting the sustainable development of local industry and economy.
