Initiative thanks to "untied"
Mr. Khong Minh graduated with a major in Electromechanical Engineering (under the cooperation program between Hanoi University of Science and Technology and Leibniz Hannover University, Germany), Hanoi University of Science and Technology.
Before working at Phenikaa University, Mr. Khong Minh worked at IMI Institute of Mechanical Engineering (Ministry of Industry and Trade) as a mechanical engineer; Faculty of Electromechanical Engineering - Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (Hanoi University of Industry). He focuses on teaching and researching a lot about robot systems, writing industrial robotics textbooks. Mr. Minh is passionate about researching mobile robots, especially mobile robots used in industry and healthcare.
Since 2019, he has taught at the University of Technology (Venikaa University) - a business environment that has helped him "untie" some limitations. colleagues and grassroots unions also regularly cheer, encourage, and create the best support conditions for him in the process of working, creating... so his research is increasingly flourishing.
From 2019 to present, I have been teaching and being the Head of Robotics Department of Phenikaa-X Company. I built the department since July 2020 as a project director of PRATI Institute (Fenikaa Universitys Institute of Applied Research), and in October 2020, it was converted into the Robotics Department of Phenikaa-X Company - Mr. Minh said.
In addition to building personnel, organizing departments, building long-term strategies, and directly selling products, Mr. Khong Minh is also the head engineer and leader of dozens of robot projects, with products exported to Korea, Luxembourg, and supplied to Japanese FDI partners...
When I transferred to a private school, some difficulties in mechanisms were resolved, but during the research and creation process, I had to be very practical so that my solutions and ideas not only bring value in knowledge but also bring economic value - Mr. Khong Minh shared.
Many initiatives are applied, highly effective
According to the Vietnam Education Trade Union, Mr. Khong Minh is not only a famous initiatives in the industry but also an example of perseverance, perseverance, non-stop and self-satisfaction.
The constant, consistent task has helped Mr. Minh create dozens of continuous initiatives in recent years. Typically, in January 2021, he was the subject of the design and manufacture of disinfectant robots using UVC technology provided to Bac Giang field hospital No. 2. The project has been effectively applied and is highly appreciated, contributing to the fight against the COVID-19 epidemic in the industrial park.
In April 2021, Mr. Minh chaired the project to provide the first 2 AMRs for the Phenikaa electronics factory - the first milestone in providing commercial products after a period of tireless research.
In February 2022, he chaired a project to supply 2 AGVs to THH Vietnam and Nagase Japan - the first milestone in providing commercial industrial robot products to companies outside the group.
In March 2023, he chaired a project to provide a mobile robot to military partners - marking its ability to meet complex requirements in the military environment.
In April 2023, he chaired a project to supply 2 APM 990 robot models to Samsung Thai Nguyen electronics company SEVT - an important milestone of transformation from research, design, and manufacturing of lightweight AMR to AMR forklift-style equipment to supply to the leading modern factory in Vietnam and the world.
In August 2024, he chaired a project to supply the AMR H150 model to Nichirin Japan - the first milestone in providing robotics products for the Japanese factory.
In March 2025, Mr. Minh successfully developed the first order supplied to the Korean market. This is a project to provide the AWC 200 robot model - a self-driving wheelchair model served in hospitals and nursing homes in the Korean market.
In July 2025, he chaired a project to supply the AMR I150 model to customers in Luxembourg - this is an important milestone marking the first successful export of Phenikaa to the very demanding market of Europe.
In August 2025, he chaired a project to supply the AMR L800 model to Samsung Electronics Ho Chi Minh City SEHC.
