According to the Vinh Chau Town Labor Federation (Soc Trang Province), from 2016 to present, the Trade Union Shelter Fund has supported the construction and repair of and handed over 91 Trade Union Shelters to union members and workers in difficult circumstances. The total cost is 3.74 billion VND. Through the program, many union members have had stable housing conditions, peace of mind in their work and improved their lives.
A typical case is the case of union member Ly Thi Hong - Union of Vinh Hai Kindergarten, Vinh Hai commune, who was in difficult circumstances and could not afford to build a house. Thanks to the support of 50 million VND from the Trade Union Shelter Fund and the rest contributed by family and relatives, she was able to build a new house of 100 square meters, with a total cost of more than 182 million VND.

Or the case of Ms. Tran Thi Be Thao (Lac Hoa commune), Ms. Son Thi Hong Thuy (Vinh Phuoc ward) and Ms. Trieu Thi Sieu (Ward 2, Vinh Chau town) working in Long An province. All 3 cases are raising young children, parents are elderly, and are unable to build their own houses.
Thanks to the mobilization and coordination of the Soc Trang Provincial Federation of Labor and the Management Board of the Golden Heart Social Charity Fund Branch in Long An, each union member was supported with 50 million VND to build a Trade Union Shelter. The houses were handed over in the emotion and excitement of the families of union members and representatives of the trade unions of Long An and Soc Trang provinces.
The leader of the Vinh Chau Town Labor Federation said - The Trade Union Shelter Program continues to be a meaningful activity, demonstrating the accompanying role and responsibility of the Trade Union organization in practically caring for the material and spiritual life of union members in difficult circumstances.
