3 Union Shelters hand over houses to union members in difficulty

Soc Trang - 3 union members have just received the Trade Union Shelter, giving them more motivation to overcome difficulties and settle down to work with peace of mind and contribute.

On June 12, the Soc Trang Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) held a handover ceremony of the Trade Union Shelter to 3 union members with difficult housing circumstances in Thanh Tri district.

The 3 union members who received support this time include: Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuyen - a union member of the Vinh Loi Commune Union; Ms. Huynh Thi Cam - a union member of Thanh Tan 2 Primary School Union and Mr. Tran Van Dung - a union member of the Thanh Tri District Party Committee Office.

Each house has a total value of 100 - 200 million VND. Of which, the Provincial Trade Union Shelter Fund supported 50 million VND, the rest was contributed by family and relatives to complete.

Speaking at the handover sessions, Ms. Trinh Thi Bao Khuyen - Vice President of the Soc Trang Provincial Federation of Labor congratulated the union members on receiving new houses, and expressed her hope that these shelters will be a source of spiritual encouragement for the union members to work with peace of mind, continuing to strive to fulfill their assigned tasks well.

From the beginning of 2025 to now, the Soc Trang Provincial Federation of Labor has handed over 48 Trade Union Shelters. It is expected that in the coming time, 39 more units will be handed over to union members in difficult circumstances in the province.
