The Hai Chau Ward Labor Union has just organized a working group to visit and present support to workers whose families were affected by floods at Than Dong International Education and Training Company Limited and ROUTE INN Vietnam Investment Company Limited.
At the units, Comrade Nguyen Dinh Trung - Chairman of the Hai Chau Ward Trade Union - kindly visited the living conditions, encouraged the spirit and provided support to the workers. Each gift includes 1 million VND in cash; a total of 10 workers received support in this period.
It is known that Than Dong International Education and Training Company Limited and ROUTE INN Vietnam Investment Company Limited are two enterprises that fully fulfill their union fund obligations according to the law but have not yet established a grassroots union organization.
Through monitoring and information gathering, Hai Chau Ward Trade Union has found that many workers at enterprises were severely affected by the recent natural disaster. On that basis, the Ward Union promptly summarized the situation and proposed that the City Labor Federation pay attention and provide timely support.
Direct visits and gifts to workers not only demonstrate the deep concern of the Trade Union organization but also affirm the spirit of accompanying workers, whether there is a grassroots Trade Union or not at the enterprise.
At the same time, this activity also contributes to helping businesses clearly recognize the role of the Trade Union in caring for and protecting the rights of workers, creating conditions for them to work with peace of mind, stick with and contribute to the overall development of the unit.
