According to the latest update from Forbes, the total assets of the 5 richest billionaires in Vietnam are up to 37 billion USD.

Leading the list is still Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong - Chairman of Vingroup Corporation, with a net asset of 26.5 billion USD, ranked 87th in the list of the richest billionaires in the world.

Compared to the previous update, Mr. Vuong's assets have decreased by 1.8 billion USD, equivalent to a decrease of 6.32%. However, VIC shares still maintained positive developments, continuously breaking through and having many ceiling sessions, contributing to supporting the VN-Index to increase strongly in the first days of December.

Since the beginning of 2025, Mr. Vuong's assets have increased by more than 20 billion USD - a rare speed. At the beginning of the year, he held 6.5 billion USD; by April it reached 8 billion USD, and after only 8 months, the value of assets exceeded 26 billion USD.

Despite a decrease of 38 million USD (equivalent to 0.83%), Ms. Thao is still the only female billionaire in Vietnam, with a solid financial foundation from aviation and banking investment.

Vietjet Air and financial investment activities and banking continue to be the main platform to help Ms. Thao maintain her position among the richest people in Vietnam.

Next is Mr. Tran Dinh Long - Chairman of Hoa Phat Group, with a net asset of 2.7 billion USD, ranked 1,492nd in the world. Mr. Long's assets are closely linked to the scale and operational efficiency of the largest steel group in Vietnam.

Mr. Ho Hung Anh - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Techcombank currently owns 2.3 billion USD, however, his assets also decreased slightly by 5 million USD, equivalent to 0.21%, ranking 1,722 in the world. mobilization of banking stocks is the main reason for his net asset value to be adjusted down.

Closing the list is Mr. Nguyen Dang Quang - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Masan Group, with net assets of 1.1 billion USD, down 70 thousand USD (equivalent to 0.01%), ranked 2,972nd in the world.
