Buying a new pair of bicycles for children in the new school year
Seeing their children receiving scholarships, many parents who are workers are happy and moved. Parents shared that the scholarship is a great source of encouragement for their children and helps workers overcome some of the difficulties as the new school year is approaching.
Ms. Thanh Duyen - a worker in Tan Uyen ward - encountered many difficulties because her husband was seriously ill. The family's income mainly depends on Ms. Duyen's salary.
"I have two children, the oldest is in grade 2, the youngest is in kindergarten. The new school year is approaching, I am worried about buying school supplies and clothes for my children. I am very happy to receive this gift, planning to buy new clothes and bicycles for my daughter" - Ms. Thanh Duyen shared.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet (a worker in Dong An Industrial Park, Ho Chi Minh City) also has difficult circumstances when working away from home and having to raise two children to study, the eldest child is in grade 10, the youngest child is in grade 3. Ms. Tuyet could not hide her emotions: "I am very happy and grateful to the Union for the Nguyen Duc Canh scholarship. I will buy a new pair for the children".

Each gift is worth 1 million VND, 1 health check-up voucher, 1 gift, the total value is more than 2.1 million VND/gift.

Giving gifts to union members in difficult circumstances, examining patients for female workers
The Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation said that on the occasion of the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union, the unit presented gifts to 900 union members and workers in difficult circumstances. Each portion is worth 1 million VND in cash, 1 health check-up voucher and 1 gift, with a total value of 2.1 million VND/gift. Currently, 100 gifts have been given to workers in wards and communes in the old Binh Duong. The Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation also presented 240 gifts to female workers in difficult circumstances. Each portion is worth 500,000 VND in cash, 1 health check-up voucher, general examination services and gifts with a total value of 2.1 million VND/gift.
