The training course was held at Tran Hung Dao Primary School (Hong Gai Ward) directly led by the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 4 - Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department.
More than 100 students who are staff, workers, and teachers of primary and secondary schools in the area participated.
During the training period, students are equipped with legal knowledge and fire prevention and fighting skills suitable to the characteristics of educational institutions; learn about the causes and conditions for fire and explosion; preventive measures and fire fighting tactics at facilities such as schools, high-rise buildings, and townhouses.
Trainees are also instructed to proficiently use on-site fire fighting equipment such as powder bottles, air bottles, and water spraying lenses from the fire extinguisher of the wall.
In addition to the theory section, students also practice rescue: drowning prevention, first aid (exorbital heart transplant, artificial breathing, wound bandaging), escape skills in smoke-prone environments, toxic gases, etc.
Practice lessons such as extinguishing fires in gas tanks, newly arising small fires, escape skills, and first aid to victims will help the staff, teachers, and workers in schools improve proactiveness, readiness to handle emergency situations quickly and effectively.
Through the training course, the awareness and skills of cadres and workers are strengthened, contributing to ensuring the safety of life and property, building a safe school environment.
