At The Blues One Member Limited Liability Company, Trade Union Meals were organized for 650 workers with each meal worth 58,000 VND. In which, the City Labor Federation supported 30,000 VND, businesses contributed 18,000 VND and grassroots trade unions supported 10,000 VND.
The diet was improved with roasted chicken rice and dessert yogurt. On this occasion, representatives of the Trade Union and business leaders also presented 15 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
Mr. Duong Anh Tuan - Chairman of the grassroots trade union of The Blues One Member Limited Liability Company - said that the program creates opportunities for employees, trade union officials and business leaders to share and increase bonding. The company's trade union will continue to maintain care activities such as giving Mid-Autumn gifts, organizing visits, resorts and Year-end meals.
According to Ms. Ho Thi Lan Huong - Vice Chairwoman of Da Nang City Labor Federation, in the last days of July, the program was implemented at 10 businesses, with 4,467 union members and workers benefiting.
The City Labor Federation supported 181.2 million VND to increase the value of meals, and at the same time awarded 140 hardship allowances, totaling 140 million VND. Grassroots Trade Unions also contributed nearly 89.5 million VND to improve lunch meals.
Many units also organize dialogues, forums to listen to workers speak and award Trade Union Shelters.
