On the evening of July 9, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hau - Vice Chairman of Xuan Huong Ward People's Committee - Da Lat (Lam Dong) confirmed that functional forces had discovered a man, suspected to be the homeowner, dead in a fire that occurred in the afternoon of the same day.

According to Mr. Hau, the identity of the fire victim was identified as Mr. Phu Hoang Ho (58 years old, homeowner).
Previously, immediately after receiving the news, local forces quickly deployed initial firefighting measures, supported to bring trapped people out safely; and at the same time reported to the Fire and Rescue Police force.
Because the fire occurred in a densely populated residential area, with many adjacent businesses, people could not help but panic and worry that the fire would spread.
Black smoke rising high also made it difficult to access the scene.

To serve firefighting, Xuan Huong Ward Police - Da Lat blocked both ends of Truong Cong Dinh street, diverted traffic and ensured the safety of the area. Medical forces were also mobilized to be on duty at the scene.
The Fire and Rescue Police Department of Lam Dong Provincial Police dispatched many fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene, deploying many firefighting teams, preventing the fire from spreading to neighboring buildings.

At the time of the fire, Mr. Nguyen Van Loc - Secretary of the Party Committee of Xuan Huong ward - Da Lat - was directly present to direct firefighting and rescue work.
After many hours of effort, functional forces completely controlled the fire, safely rescued 4 people trapped in the house and moved many assets out to limit damage.
