On August 1st, Dam Ha Commune People's Committee, Quang Ninh province, announced information about a fire that occurred in the area of Phuc Tien Fishing Port, Phuc Tien village, Dam Ha commune, Quang Ninh province.
According to reports, at about 3:37 am on the same day, Dam Ha Commune People's Committee received a report from the commune police force about a fire in the fishing port area.
Immediately after receiving the information, Dam Ha Commune People's Committee directed the commune police, military forces, officials, people of Phuc Tien village and related units to coordinate with the Fire and Rescue Police force, Quang Ninh Provincial Police to deploy firefighting, rescue, and protect the scene.
At about 4:45 am on the same day, the fire was controlled and completely extinguished.
The fire did not cause any casualties. Initial statistics show that there were 19 boats and engines of 17 individuals and 2 organizations damaged.
According to the declarations of vehicle owners and related organizations, the total initial damage value is estimated at about 2.587 billion VND.
Dam Ha Commune People's Committee is continuing to coordinate with functional agencies to investigate the cause of the fire and handle it according to regulations.
