On April 10, at the Dong Thap Labor Culture House, the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) organized a training class on occupational safety and health (ATVSLĐ) - fire and explosion prevention (PCCN) in 2026 for more than 200 officials, union members, and workers in the province.
This is the second training class in 2026, contributing to improving risk prevention capacity right from the grassroots level.

Speaking at the training class, Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui - Chairwoman of the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation - emphasized that in the context of increasingly expanding production and business activities, the risk of labor unsafety is always present, requiring proactiveness from each unit.
She proposed that commune and ward-level trade unions, trade unions of industrial parks, economic zones and grassroots trade unions not only stop at propaganda but also need to "go one step ahead" in risk identification, strengthen guidance, inspection, and close coordination with employers to effectively implement regulations on OSH, and build a safe and sustainable working environment.
At the training class, delegates were updated on the system of legal regulations related to social insurance; new points of the 2024 Law on Social Insurance; regulations of the 2015 Law on Occupational Safety and Health; Law on Fire Prevention, Fighting and Rescue in 2024.

At the same time, the content on labor environment management, health care for workers and responsibilities of employers is also integrated, helping students have a more comprehensive view in ensuring safety.
The highlight of the program is the combination of theory and practice. Trainees are guided on fire prevention and fighting skills, handling incident situations and practicing first aid in labor accidents - essential skills that can be applied right at work.
Through the training class, trade union officials and workers consolidate knowledge, improve skills, thereby proactively preventing and limiting labor accidents and occupational diseases.
This is also an important preparation step for units to effectively participate in the 26th "Labor Safety - Hygiene, Fire and Explosion Prevention" Contest in 2026, towards the goal of building a safe, stable and sustainable working environment.
