According to the Provincial Trade Union, 2024 is the first year of implementing the Resolution of the Trade Union Congress for the 2023-2028 term. Trade unions focus on implementing many solutions to implement the resolution, which is a favorable condition for trade unions of agencies and units to operate.
The Standing Committee of the Trade Union directed the Trade Unions to organize many activities to care for union members, civil servants, public employees, and workers, and coordinate with the government to support union members and civil servants to have a happy and prosperous Tet. More than 2,000 gifts were given to union members in difficult circumstances, worth more than 1.3 billion VND.
Propaganda and mobilization of union members to contribute more than 330 million VND to implement the Trade Union Warm House Program, thereby promptly building 6 new houses, repairing 2 houses for union members with difficult housing circumstances, encouraging their spirit, helping union members settle down and work.
Trade unions organize activities to respond to Workers' Month 2024, focusing on taking care of union members and workers in difficult circumstances, illness, occupational diseases... with a total amount of 391 million VND.
The trade unions of agencies and units maintain the organization of revolving capital contributions without interest from union members and employees of tens of billions of dong, helping many union members buy vehicles and household equipment, improving their daily lives. In addition, the affiliated trade unions also signed bank guarantees of tens of billions of dong to help union members build and repair houses, do side businesses, etc.
Propaganda and mobilization of over 1,000 cadres, union members, and civil servants to participate in the Online Contest to learn about the Resolution of the 11th Congress of the Kien Giang Provincial Trade Union organized by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation. Organized the Contest for Excellent Trade Union Cadres with hundreds of contestants and people coming to cheer.
Coordinated with the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee Office to organize an online contest to learn about traffic safety laws and regulations. As a result, over 6,000 cadres, union members, and civil servants participated.
