On October 22, more than 3,000 workers of Lefaso Tra Vinh Industrial Investment and Production Joint Stock Company participated in a fire fighting, rescue and relief drill.
The drill was organized to improve the situation handling skills of officers and soldiers of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police, while helping the grassroots fire prevention forces grasp the process, use vehicles proficiently and proactively respond when a fire or explosion occurs.
The hypothetical situation is a large fire in the factory area due to an electrical short circuit, quickly spreading to the surrounding area, creating a lot of smoke and toxic gas.
On-site forces promptly cut off the power, reported the fire to 114, organized rescue and rescued 8 people trapped, and deployed fire fighting equipment to control the fire.
The professional force mobilized 3 fire trucks and specialized equipment, coordinating with Tra Cu Commune Police and the Local Power Management Team to extinguish the fire, ensuring safety in the area.
At the end of the exercise, the Command Board held a meeting to learn from experience, perfect a plan suitable for reality, contributing to raising awareness and skills of fire prevention and fighting and rescue for all workers and people in the area.
