According to a report from the Provincial Federation of Labor (PFF), from October 13 to 17, the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor organized many outstanding activities, taking care of the material and spiritual life of 161,397 union members in 636 units.
During the week, the Provincial Federation of Labor developed 430 new union members, established the Trade Union of the Infrastructure Development Project Management Board of Vinh Long Economic Zone and the Trade Union of the Land Fund Development Center of Vinh Long province, dissolved 1 union, and paid leave for 15 cases according to Resolution No. 07/2025/NQ-CP.
In particular, the Provincial Federation of Labor organized the handover of 6 Trade Union Shelters to union members in difficult circumstances, contributing to improving the lives and spirit of workers and laborers.
The affiliated trade unions organized many practical programs, giving 936 gifts worth 151.6 million VND to female union members on the occasion of October 20, demonstrating practical concern for the spiritual life of workers.
In addition, the "Nam Thanh Lich, Nu Duyen Dang" contest at Ty Xuan Company Limited with 34 contestants, with a budget of 220.000 VND; flower arrangement and cooking contest at Yazaki EDS Vietnam Company Limited with 104 contestants; 0 VND booth program and preferential sales at Ty Bach Company Limited with 16 booths, with a total cost of about 210 million VND, creating a useful and practical playground for union members.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor also guides the organization of the 2025-2030 General Meeting of Trade Unions, supervises union revenue and expenditure, inspects compliance with the Trade Union Charter and issues many important documents on union membership work, finance and emulation movements.
These outstanding activities demonstrate the practical role of Vinh Long Labor Union in improving the lives, spirit and connecting union members and workers in the province.
