On June 20, Mr. Nguyen Van Sinh - Chairman of the Trade Union of Cao Son Coal Joint Stock Company - TKV said that the health check-up program was conducted right at the company's Health Station, with the professional coordination of Cam Pha Regional General Hospital, to ensure professional quality and maximum convenience for staff and employees.
The total number of employees participating in the examination reached 3,172/3,208 people, equivalent to 98.9%, showing the proactiveness and seriousness of the units in organizing and coordinating implementation. The remaining cases, mainly due to long-term illness or being treated at higher levels, will be arranged for additional examination.
The content of the regular health check-up includes: General and specialized clinical examinations, blood, urine tests, general ultrasounds, electrocardiograms, X-rays, in-depth consultations on risk factors for chronic diseases and common occupational diseases in coal mining environments.
After the examination, employees were directly consulted by a specialist, helping to better understand their personal health condition, and at the same time being instructed to adjust their living habits, nutritional regimen and exercise appropriately to prevent diseases and prolong their life. Cases with unusual signs or high risk are recorded and scheduled for in-depth examination at upper-level hospitals.
