On June 14, 2025, the Investigation Police Agency of Ninh Binh Provincial Police (Economic Police Department of the Provincial Police) issued a Decision to prosecute the criminal case, a Decision to prosecute the accused against Tran Dai Phuc - Director of Hai Be Company Limited (located in Thanh Tay village, Van Phu commune, Nho Quan district, Ninh Binh) and Le Van Hai (owner of the social network account Tiktok "Hai Sen Family") co-founder of the Company.
The results of the assessment of the quality indicators of health protection foods Hai Be delicious syrup - a product announced by Hai Be Company Limited and responsible for product quality determined: substances including Vitamin A, Calcium, Vitamin C (the main ingredients of the product) only reached 70% of the announced level.
Therefore, the above two individuals have been prosecuted by the Investigation Police Agency of Ninh Binh Provincial Police for the crime of "Trading in counterfeit food goods" as prescribed in Clause 1, Article 193, Penal Code 2015.
The health protection food product Hai Be delicious syrup has been granted a Certificate of receipt of product declaration registration No. 1121/2024/DKSP dated January 30, 2024 and a Certificate of advertising content No. 1121/2024/XNQC-ATTP dated June 7, 2024 to Hai Be Company Limited (address in Thanh Tay village, Van Phu commune, Nho Quan district, Ninh Binh).
The Food Safety Department recommends that people should not use health protection foods such as delicious Hai Be syrup of Hai Be Company Limited while the authorities are verifying the incident.
