On July 26, the People's Public Security Trade Union (PPP) said that in recent times, the PPP has effectively performed its function of caring for union members and employees. In particular, many welfare and union social security programs for union members and employees are organized in addition to the benefits enjoyed according to the policies of the Ministry of Public Security. Typically: Organizing regular visits and support for difficulties and when affected by natural disasters and epidemics for more than 100,000 union members with a budget of more than 70 billion VND; supporting more than 200 "Union Shelters"; supporting thousands of livelihood models; supporting more than 10,000 cadres, soldiers, civil servants, and employees to borrow from the Cep fund over 500 billion VND.
In particular, the Trade Union of Vietnam has received nearly 500 "Union adopted children", supported with care costs worth more than 5 billion VND; coordinated with partner units to have many policies to improve working conditions, health care for employees, employees... with support resources of tens of billions of VND.
Lieutenant Colonel Cong Thanh Thao - Head of the People's Public Security Trade Union said that the social security activities of the People's Public Security Trade Union not only spread the spirit of mutual love and support but also contributed to strengthening the close relationship between the police force and the people.
Through coordination with local labor federations, the Trade Union has actively contributed to mobilizing people and workers to participate in detecting and denouncing crimes, refuting false and hostile accusations, and protecting the Party's ideological foundation in the new situation, emphasized Lieutenant Colonel Cong Thanh Thao - Head of the Trade Union Committee.
