Initial information, at around 2:15 p.m. on July 26, the authorities and Rescue Team 116 saw a body drifting in Ha Long Bay, suspected to be the last victim of the capsize of the tourist boat in Vinh Xanh 58, license plate QN-7105 that occurred on July 19.
Immediately after receiving the report from the people, the authorities proceeded to protect the scene and deploy measures to salvage and bring the body to shore to verify the victim's identity.
As Lao Dong reported earlier, yesterday, July 25, at around 2:45 p.m., Rescue Team 116 and the Ha Long Flight crew found the body of a woman about 50 years old drifting in Ha Long Bay.
After verification, DNA testing confirmed that the female body was victim Hoang Thi Q (born in 1975) - one of the last two victims missing in Ha Long Bay in the capsize of the tourist boat Vinh Xanh 58, license plate QN-7105 on the afternoon of July 19.
