On the morning of July 25, at the multi-functional swimming pool, the Nghe An Provincial Labor Culture House organized the 2026 Swimming Tournament for union members, workers and people in the area.
Attending the program were Mr. Cao Nguyen Hung - Vice Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation; representatives of the Provincial Labor Culture House, along with a large number of athletes, parents and audiences.
The tournament is a practical activity towards the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026), and at the same time responds to the movement "All people practice physical exercise following the example of the great Uncle Ho".
This year's swimming tournament attracted more than 50 athletes to compete in age groups. Immediately after the opening ceremony, the athletes entered the competition with a spirit of solidarity, honesty and high determination. Many rounds of swimming took place sôi nổi, dramatically, receiving the cheers of a large audience.
According to the organizers, the tournament aims to develop the swimming training movement among union members, workers and people; contributing to improving physical strength, swimming skills and drowning prevention and control in the community.
This is also an opportunity for athletes to exchange, learn, show their abilities and competitive bravery, thereby discovering and selecting faces with good achievements for the province's swimming movement.
At the end of the competition events, the organizers awarded first, second, and third prizes to athletes with high achievements in each age group; and awarded some sub-prizes to promising young athletes and athletes with impressive performances.
