On September 7, more than 500 outstanding union officials and union members of the Viet Hoa Ward Union, Thanh Dong Ward, Chu Van An Ward, Le Thanh Nghi Ward; Phu Thai Commune, Nam Sach Commune, Mao Dien Commune visited and offered incense at the Comrade Nguyen Duc Canh Memorial House (An Hai Ward); Bach Dang Giang Relic Site (Bach Dang Ward). Delegates also participated in practicing the skills of organizing collective activities for union officials, union members, and workers at Vung Huong beach, Do Son ward.
Offering incense at Comrade Nguyen Duc Canh Memorial House, Mr. Dong Van Duc, a union member of Phuc Son Cement Company, shared: "I am very happy to have been chosen to participate in the program of Thanking Workers, to visit and learn about famous and meaningful red relics and addresses in Hai Phong City. Thereby, we have more knowledge about the new city, are proud of it and want to contribute more to the city".
It is known that this is the second activity in the series of activities "Thank you to workers" organized by the City Labor Federation. The program aims to widely disseminate to cadres, union members, and workers in the city about the glorious tradition of the Vietnamese working class, the position, role, functions, tasks, and great contributions of the Vietnam Trade Union; historical relics, meaningful red addresses of Hai Phong city.
Through activities, the City Labor Federation hopes to create unity in organization, consensus of cadres, union members, and workers to effectively implement the operating model of trade unions at all levels in the new situation. Along with that, encouraging union members and workers in the city to actively participate in the patriotic emulation movement, striving to exceed the socio-economic development targets in 2025.
Previously, on August 24, 360 outstanding union officials and union members of the Nguyen Luong Bang Commune Union, Tu Ky, Thach Khoi Ward, and the Tay Hai Phong Industrial Park Union also participated in the thank-you program organized by the City Labor Federation.
