On February 6, the Standing Committee of Le Thanh Nghi Ward Trade Union (Hai Phong City) organized a conference to summarize the movement of workers, civil servants, laborers and trade union activities in 2025; deploy key tasks for 2026, and at the same time organize the program "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" on the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026.
Attending and directing the conference were Mr. Nguyen Van Phiet - Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City Labor Federation; Mr. Nguyen Van Dong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Le Thanh Nghi ward, along with representatives of leaders of grassroots trade unions and a large number of union members and workers.
At the conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngan - Chairwoman of Le Thanh Nghi Ward Trade Union presented a summary report on Trade Union activities in 2025, assessing the achieved results, advantages and difficulties in the process of task implementation; and at the same time set out directions and key tasks for 2026, focusing on caring for the lives, protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
In 2025, 3 grassroots trade unions were awarded the Excellent Emulation Flag by the Hai Phong City Labor Federation; 7 collectives and 8 individuals with outstanding achievements in the movement of workers, civil servants, laborers and trade union activities were awarded Certificates of Merit.
Within the framework of the program "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party", the Organizing Committee presented 170 gifts, each worth 1,000,000 VND from the budget of Hai Phong City People's Committee; 280 gifts, each worth 1,000,000 VND from the Hai Phong City Labor Federation for union members and workers in difficult circumstances; 30 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND for workers in difficult circumstances in the ward; 90 shopping vouchers at Hai Phong Trade Union Tet Market, each voucher worth 200,000 VND.
At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Phiet and Mr. Nguyen Van Dong acknowledged and praised the achievements of the Le Thanh Nghi Ward Trade Union in 2025; and at the same time requested the unit to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, strongly focus on grassroots levels, and provide practical care for union members and workers.
