According to the reporter's records, the investor and contractors are focusing on human resources, machinery and equipment to complete the final items of the two hospitals above.

The Viet Duc Hospital's Facility 2 project is continuing to construct the plaster ceiling, aluminum ceiling, paint the exterior of the house; complete the operating room, install doors; install electrical and water equipment; complete the basement; complete industrial hygiene; parking lot; construct the rainwater drainage system, wastewater, construct the lighting system...
In the premises of the two hospitals, construction units are urgently completing auxiliary items such as roads, ornamental plants, garden landscapes, etc.
Speaking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Hoang Cuong - Deputy Head of the Medical Project Management Board - Project Investor (under the Ministry of Health) said that the investor is currently directing contractors to focus on human and material resources to speed up the project's progress.
"Up to now, the construction volume has been completed over 98%, and will be 100% completed before November 30" - Mr. Cuong said.
According to Mr. Cuong, currently, facility 2 of Bach Mai and Viet Duc Hospitals has implemented the direct procurement of part of the medical equipment and is expected to be completed before December 25. At the same time, widely bidding for other medical equipment is being implemented and it is expected to complete the installation and handover of all equipment for use before April 30, 2026.
Regarding the progress of the implementation of the two hospital projects above, on the afternoon of October 28, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long inspected the site.
On October 31, the Government Office issued Notice No. 591/TB-VPCP on the conclusion of Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long's inspection and urging of the investment project to build the second facility of Viet Duc Friendship Hospital and Bach Mai Hospital in Ninh Binh.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Health, the Project Management Board, contractors and relevant ministries and agencies to continue to be determined, efforts, proactive, focus resources to the maximum, implement synchronously, drastically and effectively solutions to completely handle arising difficulties and problems and complete the remaining work and tasks at the two projects above.
Strive to inaugurate 2 projects on the same occasion as the inauguration ceremony, starting construction of large-scale, meaningful projects and works across the country (expected to be held on December 19, 2025) on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the National Resistance War and welcoming the 14th National Congress of the Party.
