On August 19, the Trade Union of HD Hyundai-Vietnam Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (Dong Ninh Hoa ward, Khanh Hoa province) organized a Trade Union Meal for all union members and workers working at the factory.

This is one of the practical activities of the Trade Union of HD Hyundai-Vietnam Shipbuilding Company Limited (HVS) on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
4 dining areas serve more than 5,500 meals to all employees working in the company, including employees of subcontractors, inspectors, ship owners, etc.

Entering the No. 3 cafeteria, Mr. Trinh Van Thong - a welder who has been with the company for 24 years - could not help but be surprised that today's shift meal had many more delicious dishes.
Normally, we have about 4 dishes per meal, now 7 dishes. The weather was hot and sunny, working in the workshops was hard, but when I entered the house to eat cool food, the dishes were very delicious, so most of the workers were very happy.
I also hope to have more Union meals like today to share with the company's leaders and workers from the family meals like today" - Mr. Thong happily shared.

According to the HVS Trade Union, the Trade Union Meal has 2 menus for workers to choose. There are 3 salty dishes, 2 vegetables, rice, dessert ice cream and 1 can of bird's nest water.
Each Union meal costs 52,000 VND, the Union spends an additional 26,500 VND/meal compared to the daily meal.
Mr. Le Van Toan - Chairman of the HVS Trade Union - said that the Trade Union Meal was held on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution today as an act of gratitude to workers who have contributed to building the factory to develop more and more.

At the same time, this is also an opportunity to improve meals for union members and workers and add motivation, spread patriotism, and creative labor efforts to build million-dollar ships with the labor of Vietnamese people.
